When 80K Businesses Fail

Aug 12, 2020 4:23:41 PM

Good morning...

"Small Businesses Are Dying by the Thousands — And No One Is Tracking the Carnage."

That was the Bloomberg headline yesterday.

The article went on to say:

Yelp Inc., the online reviewer, has data showing more than 80,000 permanently shuttered from March 1 to July 25. About 60,000 were local businesses, or firms with fewer than five locations.

Permanently shuttered. Done.

It's beyond tragic.

But let's look at it another way: that's 80,000 HIGHLY CAPABLE entrepreneurs.

Where will they go?

That's where our new Water As A Career™ program* could come in.

And this Thursday, I will be reporting on our progress in the lab.
