Advanced Algae Center

Here's the link to yesterday's MoneyTV, where I discussed our second major field project, at the site of the original Dept. of Energy Aquatic Species Program that ran from 1978 to 1996. We will be paid to help build the facility, which will serve everyone in algae, securely and without bias.

Political Outlook for Algae

Also in the same interview, I discussed how the Department of Defense is doing so much to support algae development. "Energy Independence" and "National Security" are non-partisan ideas that will continue to propel the algae rollout.

The new political climate pushes back against older, less efficient technologies and favors investments to make cleantech more affordable. I reported on this direction on my blog here. This is very positive for algae, the ultimate biofuel.
