Four years to one year to…
Recently, we hired our first full-time salesperson to ramp up sales of our Algae Appliance™ high-speed harvester.
That’s a full four years since we filed our first algae harvesting patent.
Recently, we launched a performance-based sales model which is accelerating sales of our CLEAN-FRAC™ oil and gas water cleanup system.
That was one year from when we learned we could clean up water from fracking and oil drilling operations.
Recently, we connected with a highly aggressive player in the fish farming industry to equip them with a hybrid system that both reduces ammonia and bacteria levels, and provides algae for healthy (and cheaper) feed.
That’s just six weeks since April 9th, when we first started building the aquaculture prototype pictured here on our live Facebook photo stream!
Four years. One year. Six weeks.
From 50 ppm to undetectable
Within the next few days, we will take our mobile systems onsite to their working fish farms to demonstrate what we have already shown in the lab: consistent reduction of ammonia levels in water taken from working Tilapia fish tanks… from 50 parts per million to undetectable.
This player is planning a revolution in US fish farming, which has been hard-hit by high production prices.
They will achieve lower cost, healthier products.
So where do we go from here?
Here’s a hint from an (unedited) memo from co-founder Nicholas Eckelberry to the development team:
In looking at the recent work with ammonia reduction, which btw is yielding great results for gen 2 and 3 of the basic device, we are seeing that decon of any waters will be the overarching benefit. this will align to many industries dealing with water problems, from nuclear to ag to industrial. n
Universal water decontamination
In short, we are coming close to a universal water decontamination system.
Each new industry app will simply be a localization process to adapt our universal system to specific industry requirements.
