Volume Manufacturing Launches!

Industrial design from PACE
Last week we reported that we are designing and installing commercial systems at our new permanent showcase near the Salton Sea.
Since our first shipment to Ennesys last summer, we have shipped a dozen of our Algae Appliance testers, every one built in the lab.
That’s not cheap, but it’s allowed us to make continuous improvements.
Here’s just one of those continuous improvements:
Two days ago, the R&D team made an improvement that *may* increase throughput by 10 times on the same design!
That same day, the engineers from PACE arrived to freeze that very design, so volume manufacturing can begin.
Here you can see Andy Komor, VP Environmental Engineering at PACE, arms wide, gauging the footprint of the machine.
And far right, Brian Reid, Senior Project Engineer, is busy taking tons of photos.

World-standard manufactured systems
From here, they will quickly engineer a system that can be manufactured in volume by Clean Water Tech, and this will give us a world-standard manufactured harvester for the fast-growing algae industry!
Next up: the aquaculture cleanup system, also known as the Aquappliance™…
Bottom line, after the summer heat, we expect to have commercial demonstrators in place at our new permanent showcase near the Salton Sea!
Pssst – another Big Biz Show!
Yesterday, I took Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner once again to Solana Beach (a very civilized way to travel) and showed up at Bob “Sully” Sullivan’s Big Biz Show.
The show is longer than most, which is great to discuss the company and where it’s going. Sully takes live emails from his listeners, which makes it relevant.
