Trinidad’s Waste Oil Problem
Good morning!
Cleaning up 100 years of waste
The island nation Trinidad & Tobago (T&T) has been a major producer and refiner of oil and gas for over 100 years.
In the 21st century, it’s taken a very strong position on cleaning up its waste oil.
That’s creating a major challenge for the major oil players in the country. They need a solution that is efficient and affordable.
Trinidad’s Synergy Resources came up with a solution.
It’s a relatively small system (processing 250 barrels or about 10,000 gallons per day), meant to be located right where waste oil is being produced.
The new design includes, of course, our own Electro Water Separation™!
Synergy worked with our licensee, Colorado’s ISI, on the new product.
They’ve now ordered four of these units through ISI.
We celebrated: it’s the first industrial sale we’ve made through a licensee!
Here they are on the Big Biz Show on Monday. Check out the interview, it’s fascinating.
Also in this show, I update the status of all our commercial activities in oil & gas.
I must say, things are starting to move very quickly indeed!
Status of the Texas demonstration
As you recall, STW Resources agreed to get our technology demonstrated in West Texas.
We’ve now moved our CLEAN-FRAC™ 1000 demonstration unit to Texas.
The site, a waste oil disposal site near Midland, Texas, is being prepared for our demonstration in October.
Here’s a photo of our new truck, towing the rig through scenic Red Mountain Pass in Colorado…
We can’t wait for the results of these demonstrations!
GEN 2 nears completion
We have so many projects going on at the same time that all 15 people in our electrical contractor’s shop are working on our power supplies!
The biggest and most pressing project is our GEN 2 prototype. This is a modular system. The module you see here is designed to process about 3,000 barrels per day, or triple our current demonstrator…
By this time next week, it will be operational.
And that’s when the excitement will REALLY begin.
And have a great rest of your week!
