Saturday, Biofuels Digest reported that “OriginOil upset #6 seed Genencor, winning 56-44.” OH YEAH!

Now for the second round. As Biofuels Digest puts it this morning, “Match-ups for this week… feature all the heavyweights… plus fast-rising stars like KiOR, Joule and OriginOil…“

Sure enough, we’re now matched up with… #3 seed Sapphire Energy!

Now — we think the people at Sapphire are great, so this is a tough one. At the same time… well, we have to attack all-out.

I’m in Melbourne, on my last leg of a fantastic Australia trip. Very promising strategic talks with MBD Energy, and our engineering partner, Front Line Engineering.
