What’s going on right now at OriginOil? Well, it’s very exciting.
A University Research Program
Our recent shelf life announcement came out of independent university research that is analyzing our harvesting process — and also comparing it to older harvesting methods.
Being a peer-reviewed program, it will be some time before it is published.
But exciting results like this one are already coming out, and we will continue to share them as they become available.

Technology Adoption
The initial research results are leading to major licensing initiatives now in progress.
So while last quarter’s deal news was about oil and gas, we could now see some interesting developments on the algae side of the business.
It’s a testimony to the hard work of Jose Sanchez, General Manager of our algae division, who has been tirelessly evangelizing our process to the industry.

Algae and Aquaculture
The world farms more than 50 million tons of fish a year. The export value of this market alone exceeds $100 billion a year. (source)
Algae is a highly nutritious way to feed fish. By reducing toxins and providing algae as a feed, we now know our process can make fish farming both more productive and more healthful.
That’s great news for the planet — and this fast-growing industry.
