Shelf life is everything

Once our food industry worked out how to keep food from spoiling, it became a national — even global — industry. Major production centers like California's Imperial Valley became exporters to the US and the world.

And so it goes with algae. By increasing shelf life from hours to days, we've made it possible for small, cheap algae farms to exist anywhere.

We are honored to be among the Top 100 People in Bioenergy, 2012-2013.

We settle with MBD Energy

As reported yesterday, we have now resolved our patent and commercial differences with our longtime customer and strategic partner, MBD Energy.

One great thing the MBD people did: they visited us back in October to talk things through and get to see our latest technology. Here's a photo showing Managing Director Andrew Lawson in our labs with our team.

Thank you Andrew, that generous step paved the way to our agreement last week. We are very optimistic about the relationship going forward.
