The Neck of the Hourglass
Good Morning!
In this week’s MoneyTV interview, I discuss our new company focus on the midstream, what I call “the neck of the hourglass”, for its strategic importance in connecting growers with refiners.
The global scope of the algae business is becoming clear, and it makes sense to specialize now.
In this interview I also reveal what we’re doing with all those growth processes and inventions that aren’t our focus now.
Answer: help the growers!
Brian Goodall’s NAA Presentation
Yesterday, our CTO presented on “2nd Generation Harvesting Second-Generation Dewatering & Extraction Technologies” to the National Algae Association’s quarterly forum in The Woodlands, Texas. You can view the presentation here.
In-depth and very well received by the Association members.
Flooding in Queensland? We’re fine.
Scott Fraser reports:
“Our existing site is ‘dry’ at JCU as it is intentionally set up for annual flooding that usually occurs during their monsoon as Queensland is tropical.
“The other proposed sites are at power stations, only one is near area of flooding, but had good planning from the government and utility engineers back in the day – and are thus High and Dry.”
Good news for our friends Down Under.
Enjoy your weekend…
