I have some bad news, and some good news.
First, the bad news.
There's a whole class of micro-toxins that cities just can't remove very easily. They are in your drinking water.
Your Brita home filter helps, but is ineffective against the worst of these. In fact, even bottled water is often toxic.
That's why most people, and their pets, are drinking what I call micro-toxic water.
These micro-toxins are too small to filter out. Chemicals like chlorine are often ineffective against them. Anyway, chemicals create their own problems.
What are micro-toxins?

Endocrine disrupting chemicals have been implicated in numerous adverse health outcomes, including... infertility,... early puberty, breast and prostate cancer, thyroid disorders, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, obesity, diabetes, asthma, immune disorders, and more.
These chemicals include hormones that can "feminize" men, various psycho-active drugs, industrial solvents that are especially harmful to children, even glyphosate (Monsanto's Roundup), found in as much as 70% of the drinking water.
There is plenty of bad news about this. It's pretty depressing.
The good news
In March of last year, we filed a U.S. patent for our own Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP). It's called AOx.
The science is clear: Advanced Oxidation works.
Basically, we have an ultra-efficient way to "zap" micro-toxins in a way that filters and chemicals alone can't do.
AOx works in harmony with filtration. It replaces most chemicals.

Now, we are developing a much-reduced, consumer design.
A new consumer market category
This would be a whole new consumer water category! It could work with, and supplement, all your existing hardware: filters, under-sink treatment systems, etc.
It could even be its own standalone device. Imagine a simple faucet add-on that would take care of these.
I caution you that we still need to get through design stage on this consumer version. I don't want to make less of that step, because it is a challenge! I will keep you closely updated on the process.
Once we have the design, we plan to license it into the existing marketplace. Imagine our technology being sold through hardware stores and Amazon vendors!
Unlike the industrial market, the consumer channel moves fast. And the need is great.
This summer, we are working to increase public awareness of the problem and the solution.
We love engineers, but there aren't millions of them! Now we are expanding into the broad consumer space.
This is a mass media and social media opportunity.
