A quick note from the front.

The Rodman Conference Ramps Up

It’s been a series of networking cocktails and receptions and galas.

On Sunday night, the lovely Natalie Cole performed. Here’s a video snapshot of your CEO, front row! Ms. Cole finished in a duet with a recording of her dad, Nat King Cole. The song was, in honor of the victims of 9/11, ‘Unforgettable’.

Thank you, Natalie.

And then last night we had another event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Now get this: I was strolling through the gallery when to my great surprise, I ran into OriginOil investor Jim Castle, a retired professor who moonlights at the Met! Jim is a very active supporter, and here’s a photo of us. That made our night.

In between all this, I got in plenty of networking with the financial community. Yes indeed! And my calendar is filled with one-on-one investor presentations.

Biofuels Digest News

In the end, Solazyme squeaked by us, 51-49. Wow. What an amazing run — we made it to the “Elite Eight”! Frankly, I never imagined we would make it this far.

In his wrapup, Biofuels Digest editor Jim Lane talked about our “…passionate fan base…” — and it was true, you helped us punch WAY above our weight class in this tournament.

So thank you, thank you, thank you, for pulling out all the stops and putting us in the top rank of all biofuels companies in the world.

Today, our stock symbol is expected to switch back to “OOIL”. Keep an eye out for that changeover.
