This week, Environmental Expert spotlighted us as one of algae’s “10 superstars with strategies for success“. That’s covered in my MoneyTV interview today.

And, in their amusingly titled report “Lotta Watta“, Biofuels Digest discusses the biggest issue facing our industry: extracting oil from all that water!

You guessed it, OriginOil received top billing for solving this problem.

The Year of Algae

Increasingly it’s clear: this is the year that Algae Becomes Real.

That means some companies are going to make big progress, and others are going to fall by the wayside. This will make big waves. Consolidation is a good thing.

OriginOil is blessed with strong support by its investors, and growing commercial momentum. We work with the most aggressive partners in our industry.

There is no doubt that we will be winners in this, the Year of Algae.

In preparation for the big year ahead, we’ve now made it very clear that we won’t be builders or operators. Instead, we will provide our critical enabling technology to the entire industry.

Just as Dolby is present in sound systems everywhere, we plan to be in algae extraction systems everywhere. More on this in that MoneyTV interview.
