GEN 2 Lands in LA

Aug 4, 2014 9:00:57 AM

Good morning!

Last week I told you about our GEN 2 technology, which could clean more than 10,000 barrels of oil- and chemical-laden frack water each day.

That's nearly half a million gallons of oily, dirty water every single day.

It's what the oil industry wants to see, and it will all fit into a 40-foot container.

Last Friday, the double-length GEN 2 module arrived from our partner ISI in Colorado.

Gen2aOriginOil's 16-foot GEN 2 electro-flotation module arrives from Colorado, painted "OriginOil Green"...

You can see here how two of these modules will sit side by side in a large container and still leave room for machinery and personnel.

And there you have it, up to a half million gallons of water treated every single day.

The rollout team

Meet the team that will roll out this technology commercially.

Andrew Davies conducts the orchestra of parts streaming in from various custom fabrication sites. He will deliver a working prototype on schedule.

  • Bill Charneski, right, is the President of OriginOil Oil and Gas.
He is our "man on the spot" with the petroleum industry.
  • Jean-Louis Kindler, left, handles our petroleum business in Asia.
And he is responsible for the rest of our blue-tech business worldwide!

Blue-Tech?

Get used to this new term.

Blue-Tech is a half-trillion dollar industry - and growing; and OriginOil is right at the center of it with a critical, technology for cleaning and reuse.

As Delta's Sky Magazine put it in its July issue,

As the world's population balloons — putting more stress on an already shrinking (and often polluted) fresh H2O supply — water dependent businesses of all stripes are turning to cutting-edge products from "blue-tech companies" worldwide.

Some analysts, including Global Water Intelligence, value this market at nearly $500 billion and growing.

Fresh water might not be the new oil, as T. Boone Pickens once argued, but it's equally in demand and starting a boom of its own.
