Good morning!
The Bangkok Post reported this week that a Thai conglomerate is building an algae plant in Thailand… and our partner MBD Energy is to provide the technology!
We are proud to be part of MBD Energy’s end to end system for algae production, and we couldn’t be happier for our Australian friends.
Congratulations!
The Partnership Model
First there was MBD Energy, then our joint venture in France, and recently our Algasol partnership. Partnerships are definitely our winning formula.
Partners can carry us along into markets that are quite distant for us, like Southeast Asia, Europe or South America, so we can focus on our technology.
Yes, partnering works for us.
(Speaking of Algasol, read my article on them in Algae Industry Magazine this week!)
Algae on Fox News Live
Yesterday, I was invited onto Fox News Live to answer the question, “Could algae be a usable energy?”
You can catch the interview here.
My message is that yes, the industry is NOW building the huge algae plantations that are needed.
I know right now of a 1000 hectare project in the planning stage — that’s 2500 acres!
NPR Series to examine fracking
On the oil and gas front, NPR is reporting all this week on “The Fracking Boom: Missing Answers.”
You can read or listen to it here. Highly recommended.
Speaking of partners, we are very happy with PACE, our partner in the oil and gas water cleanup game. They are moving very quickly in a fast-moving industry.
GAME ON!
