You know the economy is cooling. It was, even before Coronavirus.
I’m not trying to scare you about the illness. It appears to be mild. But China is slowing down. And they make… America’s stuff.
What happens in a slowdown? You repair what you’ve got.
And to us, that spells o-p-p-o-r-t-u-n-i-t-y.

Back in 2016, the industry was spending more and more on O&M (that’s Operation and Maintenance). Since 1960.
In the words of the Lux Analyst, “continuing to break the bank.”
It hasn’t changed.
And what happens in times of slowdown? Fewer shiny new things, more “repair the old”. Even more O&M.
Maintenance. The next boom in water.
