In the US, the developer of a breakthrough technology to transform algae into a true competitor to petroleum, OriginOil Inc has announced a partnership with Desmet Ballestra, an international pioneer in oil and fats technologies. OriginOil CEO and President Riggs Eckelberry announced the partnership during a speaking engagement at the National Algae Association’s fifth quarterly meeting in Houston, Texas, highlighting the potential gains from this technology.
