OriginOil sees breakthroughs in algae – harvesting process

Los Angeles-based OriginOil reports that it has simplified and refined the process of harvesting renewable oil from algae using a patent-pending, gravity-driven system. The company plans to build the new extraction technique into its own photobioreactor microalgae production systems before commercializing it for take-up by other in the algae industry.
