LOS ANGELES – OriginOil Inc has announced the recent filing of its Patent Co-operation Treaty, or PCT application, titled Apparatus and methods for photosynthetic growth of micro-organisms in a photobioreactor. This filing consolidates previous OriginOil inventions, and adds new developments since the original filings. The invention addresses challenging problems in the culturing of micro-algae, including high energy utilisation, fouling of light emitting surfaces, and diurnal growth cycles.
