OriginOil Hong Kong Signs First Strategic Agreement with Puresino Science & Technology

Beijing-based partner is equipment arm of major wastewater solutions company Poten Enviro

Los Angeles and Hong Kong– April 1, 2015 – OriginOil Inc. (OTC/QB: OOIL), developer of Electro Water Separation™ (EWS), the high-speed way to clean up very large quantities of water, today announced that its Hong Kong subsidiary, OriginOil (HK), has partnered with Beijing Puresino Science & Technology, to promote the application of EWS in water treatment for the chemical industry as well as urban wastewater and soil remediation.

“We believe there is an enormous opportunity for EWS in China’s vast water management market. We are extremely excited by this opportunity to put our technology to work with one of China’s leading solutions providers,” said OriginOil Director and Chief Commercial Officer, Jean-Louis “JL” Kindler. “We believe that our cooperation with this group will be a major step for our development plans in Asia.”

Beijing Puresino Science & Technology is a member of the Poten Environment Group, an integrated water solutions & services provider with 20 years’ experience in the industry and more than 30 branches throughout China. Puresino boasts a large production facility near Beijing and a deep patent portfolio. The company also distributes a number of outside technologies to the Chinese market.

“We have submitted to OriginOil a series of projects that we are currently engaged in and we were very satisfied with their proposed solutions, “said Zujian Wang, VP Poten Capital (Beijing) Investments. “We strongly believe that OriginOil’s technology will make a significant difference in the field and will provide our group with a major competitive advantage in addressing the environmental issues that our country is currently facing”.

OriginOil and Beijing Puresino will start collaboration immediately by studying projects in Puresino’s portfolio.

“China’s budget for water cleanup this year alone is 330 billion dollars,” said Nicholas Eckelberry, OriginOil co-founder and Chief Research Officer. “On my visits I was impressed with the urgency and dedication of our potential partners. This country is committed to handling its environmental problems and we hope to make an impact with our innovative EWS technology.”
