Los Angeles, CA – April 14, 2009 – OriginOil, Inc. (OOIL), the developer of a breakthrough technology to transform algae, the most promising source of renewable oil, into a true competitor to petroleum, has announced that the company’s President and CEO, Riggs Eckelberry, will address industry leaders and fellow members at the National Algae Association’s fifth quarterly Algae Commercialization, Research and Business Networking Forum on April 30, 2009.
The National Algae Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of algae researchers, algae production companies and the investment community who share the goal of commercializing algae oil as an alternative feedstock for the biofuels markets. The NAA conference will provide attendees with a forum for building relationships with other algae production trade associations, to evaluate various algae technologies, and to discuss the potential viability within early-stage algae production companies.
