OriginClear Enters India To Help Remove Difficult Contaminants
Partnership opens potential 2017 installations in a market growing at 12% annually
Los Angeles, CA – July 18, 2017 – OriginClear Inc. (OTC/QB: OCLN), a leading provider of water treatment solutions, today announced that the company has entered into a license agreement with Permionics Global Technologies LLP, the emerging technologies division of Permionics Membranes Pvt Ltd, a leading Indian filtration and membrane solutions provider for process, waste water recycling and water treatment.
Founded in 1980, Permionics states it has more than 10,000 projects and installations in India and other countries. Supported by strong in-house research and development, engineering and manufacturing, Permionics believes it was the first to commercialize a complete membrane-based solution entirely developed in India.
OriginClear’s is the first in the array of technologies that the Global Technologies division is adding to this solution. The division has begun to integrate OriginClear’s breakthrough high-speed water cleanup technology, Electro Water Separation with Advanced Oxidation (EWS:AOx™) into Permionics’ offerings.

As in several other countries in Asia, regulations are catching up to address critical environmental issues and the demand is growing for comprehensive, reliable systems that can treat a complete range of contaminants,” said Mr. Satyajai Mayor, Managing Director of Permionics Membranes and Permionics Global Technologies. “In addition to multiple future prospects, we have identified at least five current projects where EWS:AOx could be a strategic addition. Some of these are due for delivery before the end of 2017, and we are already working together with OriginClear’s engineers on the technology integration. This technology will make recycling systems more reliable and robust by removing difficult-to-treat contaminants.”

As part of the licensing agreement, Permionics has agreed to purchase an EWS lab unit, which the company will use to optimize the process for local waste waters, and to pursue immediate commercial opportunities.
