OriginClear Joins Innovation Pavilion at WEFTEC 2016

Also welcomes latest China partner, DongYuan Environment Technology

Los Angeles, CA – September 19, 2016 – OriginClear Inc. (OTC/QB: OCLN), a leading provider of water treatment solutions, today announced OriginClear will join the Innovation Pavilion at WEFTEC 2016, “Creating The Future of Water”, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center from 24-28 September.

Billed as the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world, WEFTEC counts more than 1,000 exhibitors and serves as a forum for domestic and international business opportunities.

“WEFTEC is by far the most important conference on our calendar,” said Jean-Louis “JL” Kindler, President of OriginClear Technologies. “Many of our prospective licensees from East Asia will attend, and in fact we will be welcoming our latest China licensee, DongYuan Environment Technology from Guangdong Province.”

New licensee DongYuan (DY) has placed an order for its first OriginClear demonstration system. DY was founded in 2009, focusing on heavy polluted industrial wastewater treatment, water recycling, brine processing, sludge drying and agriculture farming wastewater treatment. According to DongYuan, in 2012 the Chinese government honored it as a "High-New Technology Enterprise".

DongYuan joins Park Rich Environmental Technology and Ming Xu as active China partners. Industrialist Xu had originally agreed to fund a sales joint venture in China, but in response to recent progress in building a network of multiple licensees, has entered into a Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pursuant to which the Company and Xu may enter into a license agreement and may launch an OriginClear Excellence Center, a joint venture intended to support licensees with technology training and maintenance, marketing and communications efforts, and providing additional resources such as synergistic third party technologies. However, there cannot be any assurance that any definitive agreements with Xu will be entered into.

“We are very excited that we have reached this understanding to launch our first OriginClear Excellence Center,” said Kindler. “Not only could this be an excellent resource for supporting our licensees in China and elsewhere, but it could help us establish a high profile brand in the country, thus helping to protect our asset there.”
